In the F series BMW, we can actually code the blinkers to “Hyperblink”. Some love this feature, others could live without it. I decided it wasn’t for me personally but we will go through the steps to perform this coding here today.
We will be using the application called Bimmercode to code this feature out, you can download the app for IOS or ANDROID. Check if your car is compatible HERE.
Bimmercode’s website suggests using the Veepeak Bluetooth Adapter, in order to connect your phone to the car via bluetooth.
You can use Code: YTBDST15 at checkout to receive 15% off of your purchase.
Let’s jump into the coding process!
Open bimmercode, plug your Veepeak Adapter into the OBD2 port (located near your left foot in the driver’s side footwell)
Select your adapter: Veepeak OBDCheck BLE, then select your vehicle (In my case, BMW 3 Series, F30)
We will be working in the front electronic module, from there we will use expert mode (bottom left corner). Then locate 3060 Lce Master. Then locate “BLINKERSTATUSPLAUSIPRUEFUNG_A…”
We will want to either make sure Vorne Und Hinten Aktiv is selected or manually enter 0x03 in custom value.
You can now code the car. You will see the car blinks normal once and then proceeds to hyper blink.
