I was on the hunt for a good upholstery cleaner for my new alcantara steering wheel. I came across SONAX a few days and I’ve gotta say, this stuff does the trick. My wheel is relatively new, so I wasn’t expecting a huge difference but you can definitely tell that this product will be critical down the line. I also used it on my suede door cards.

Here is everything we need:

First, you will want to spray the sonax either directly onto the alcantara or the applicator pad itself. If the surface is rather dirty, be liberal with your application. In my case, the wheel is new so it really didn’t take much.

You want to massage the sonax into the alcantara thoroughly. Once you’ve covered the entire surface, let the sonax sit for 5-10min. Then take a microfiber towel and wipe down the surface.
